This year, PEAC staff members went to Heart 2 Heart Youth Hostel to take part in a series of activities, including plowing, as a team-building exercise. We chose this activity because part of our work is to help villagers sell their ecologically farmed products, and it is very important for us to understand the farming process. We also needed the exercise. It was a hard day's work, and apparently we didn't do a very good job, because the field we "plowed" is seriously out of shape. Nevertheless, we really enjoyed every minute of it. We also thought about how hard village life is, considering that what we did was just an average day's work for villagers, and it helped motivate us to do what we can to help villagers.
